Jack Fletcher played for Reading. After losing top goalscorers Charlie Satterthwaite and William Kirby in 1904, Syd King signed Fletcher to partner Billy Bridgeman and Charlie Simmons up front for West Ham. By the end of the season West Ham had scored 48 goals in 34 league games. Fletcher got seven of these goals. He joined Queens Park Rangers in 1905. He later played for Fulham.
