Herbert (Tommy) Bamlett played for Kibblesworth before joining Newcastle United. He only played two games for the club before joining West Ham in 1904. Bamlett joined two other former Newcastle players in the West Ham side: Matt Kingsleyand David Gardner. Bamlett was unable to gain a regular place in the side and after only 18 games he returned to the North-East to play for West Stanley.
