Thomas Powers

Thomas Powers worked a a journalist for United Press International (UPI). He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1971 for his reporting on the young Weatherman terrorist Diana Oughton.

Powers also published The Man Who Kept The Secrets (1979), a biography of Richard Helms, the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. He published Intelligence Wars: American Secret History from Hitler to Al-Qaeda in 2004.
