Dorsetshire

The heavy cruiser Dorsetshire was completed in 1930. The ship served in the East Indies until 1940 when she was transferred to the Atlantic and took part in the attack on Dakar in July 1941.

The Dorsetshire joined the King George V, Rodney and the Norfork in the attack on the Bismarck and on 26th May 1941 fired the final three torpedoes that sank Germany's largest battleship.

The Dorsetshire was sunk off Ceylon in April 1942.
