Dominque Fouqueray
Dominque Fouqueray was born in Le Mans on 23rd April in 1871. He studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Over the next few years he worked as an illustrator for French journals such as L'Illustration.
During the First World War Fouqueray produced several posters including Cardinal Mercier Protects Belgium. Mercier was considered to be one of the leading opponents of the German occupation of Belgium.
Dominque Fouqueray died in 1956.
