Greg Burnham

Gregory Burnham was born in San Diego, California. His father had worked for both Harry S. Truman and Dwight D. Eisenhower while they were sitting presidents. Shortly after Greg’s birth his family moved back to Maryland where they lived about 15 minutes from the White House.

While in first grade, Burnham and his family attended the services for John F. Kennedy, which included walking past the coffin as JFK lay in state in the Capitol's Rotunda. The mood in Washington was extremely somber that weekend, to say the least, and it made a lasting impact on him.

Burnham began seriously questioning the Official Government version of the assassination while attending Queen of Angels Seminary, and by the time he graduated (1975) he had become convinced that the Warren Report was non-sense and later, while still in college, he concluded that the House Select Committee on Assassinations was barely any better.

The two most important subjects of his primary research - and best sources of information - were the late Colonel L Fletcher Prouty, USAF (Chief of Special Operations) and the late Gerry Patrick Hemming. Although Hemming was known for sending researchers who “hadn’t done their homework” on wild goose chases Burnham believes that the bulk of information Hemming offered him was reliable.

Burnham’s very close ally over the years, Jack White, introduced him to the photographic and film evidence related to the assassination and eventually Burnham became acquainted with Rich DellaRosa through Jack. Burnham subsequently became a founding member of Rich DellaRosa's JFKresearch Assassination Forum where he assisted Rich with various forum related tasks from 1998 until Rich’s death in 2010.

Burnham appeared in The Guilty Men episode of The Men Who Killed Kennedy series on the History Channel, The Exhumation of Lee Harvey Oswald/The Norton Report on the Discovery Channel, and Infamous Grave Sites on the Travel Channel. Burnham also appeared in a documentary about the final disposition of JFK's casket, which was aired in 1999 concerning its having been dumped in the ocean in 1966.

In 2000 Burnham was on the Intelligence Community Connections panel and the Chauncey Holt panel at the JFK Lancer conference in Dallas. He was the moderator, as well as a presenter, at the “Murdering America JFK Symposium” in Encinitas, CA with James Fetzer, PhD (Assassination Science), David Mantik, MD, PhD (The Silence of the Historians) and Noel Twyman (Bloody Treason) in 2001.

Burnham was the very first guest on Len Osanic’s, Black Op Radio, and has also been a guest on KFI Radio (Los Angeles) and Radio Liberty, among others stations, to discuss the JFK case.

Burnham accepted a challenge to debate Political Science Professor John McAdams of Marquette University on the Paul Garson Radio show in Los Angeles. According to a poll of the audience and the opinion of moderator and host, Paul Garson, “Burnham won the debate by a wide margin.”

In 2010, Burnham wrote an introduction to National Security Action Memorandum #263 for JFK Lancer and followed it up with an introduction to National Security Action Memorandum #273.

In November of that year he presented his work on those documents at the Coalition on Political Assassinations (COPA) Conference in Dallas. His focus was on the possible role that senior administration officials and military personnel had in JFK’s demise due to their objection to JFK’s Vietnam withdrawal policy. At the very least, Burnham’s contention is that one (McGeorge Bundy, Special Assistant on National Security) or more of them appear to have had foreknowledge of the plot.

Since Kodak was to permanently discontinue the processing of all Kodachrome film at the end of 2010, Burnham shot the last footage possible, while using Kodachrome film stock and a Bell and Howell Director Series movie camera, from the so-called Zapruder Pedestal in Dealey Plaza on November 22, 2010 from noon until 2:30pm, including the crucial 12:30 time of the assassination. Burnham also gave two presentations at the 2013 COPA Conference, A Revolution of Mind and Sabotage at the Bay of Pigs.

Burnham lives in San Diego with his wife where he continues to work on the JFK case, as well as his career in real estate.
