Paul Conrad

Paul Conrad worked for The Denver Post before joining the Los Angeles Times in 1964. A strong opponent of Richard Nixon he produced over hundred cartoons on the Watergate Scandal between 1972 and 1974. Conrad has a sense of history and several of his cartoons have made reference to the work of 19th century cartoonists such as Thomas Nast and Bernard Gillam. Conrad has won the won the Pulitzer Prize for his work in 1964, 1971 and 1984.
